Taste the city fjord

A local guide will pick you up at Opus XVI and the journey has started! Followed by a walk to the Fish Market, a landmark in Bergen with more than 1,000 years of history. As you glide out into the fjord, Alf introduces you to the seafaring heritage that built Bergen, a city shaped by tides, fishermen, and the cold, clean waters of the world´s finest seafood.

Along the way, you will hear stories of coastal foraging, marine ecosystems, and the ingredients that now grace Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe. The boat slows, the air becomes still and the fjord reveals one of its hidden gems: a peaceful bay where your culinary moment begins. Every taste reflects Norwegian purity: Cold wanters, sustainable harvesting and centuries-old coastal traditions.
