Bergen Aperitivo
A Curated Taste of Western Norway exclusively at Opus XVI. An elegant introduction to the flavors and traditions of Western Norway.
Bergen Aperitivo is an intimate tasting inspired by the Italian aperitivo ritual, a relaxed pre-dinner gathering centered around small bites, regional drinks, and engaging conversation.
Over the course of 60–90 minutes, guests discover how Bergen’s landscape of sea, fjords and mountains shaped its culinary traditions and centuries of international trade. Guests enjoy a curated selection of small bites highlighting traditional Western Norwegian ingredients and preservation techniques, combined with a selection of distinctly Norwegian beverages.
The experience is personally hosted by Heidi, one of the hotel’s trusted local partners, a Bergen native, certified sommelier and licensed city guide who knows the city’s history, food culture and traditions with rare depth and personal insight.
Bergen Aperitivo takes place within the elegant surroundings of Opus XVI and is designed for intimate gatherings.
