From Sea to City is a private, curated journey through Bergen’s maritime heritage, contemporary culture and refined culinary scene.
Beginning with a walk past Bryggen, the UNESCO World Heritage site, the experience continues with a short crossing on the iconic Beffen, Bergen’s small harbour ferry. From the water, the city reveals a different perspective before the journey unfolds on foot through hidden streets and carefully selected stops that reveal a more intimate side of the city – from local gastronomy and Norway’s distinctive wine culture to contemporary fashion and Scandinavian design.
The experience is personally hosted by Heidi, the hotel’s trusted local partner – a Bergen native, certified sommelier and licensed city guide who knows the city’s history, food culture and hidden corners with rare depth and personal insight.
For guests wishing to extend the experience, the journey may conclude with a private aperitif in the hotel, featuring fresh local seafood and carefully selected wines.
